Southwesterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 25 knots offshore south of Merimbula in the early afternoon. Winds tending southeast to southwesterly in the early afternoon then becoming variable about 10 knots in the late evening.

Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres around midday, then decreasing below 1 metre later in the evening.

1st Swell

Southerly 1 to 1.5 metres inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore.

A high pressure ridge extends over the state, bringing light winds and stable conditions. A cold front is forecast to cross the coastal waters on Friday through to early Saturday, bringing fresh to strong southerly winds in its wake.
