Weather Situation

A weak trough in the east is bringing east to northeasterly winds along the coast. This trough will deepen to a low as it enters the central coastal waters this evening and quickly heads offshore. This will be followed by a high pressure ridge building across the state, which will become the dominant feature over the coastal waters mid to late this week. Then, the next trough looks set to cross the coastal waters this weekend, bringing a southerly wind change in its wake.
