- Weather Situation
- A strong high pressure system over the western Tasman Sea is slowly drifting eastwards while directing northeasterly winds over the coastal waters. This pattern will be disrupted by a trough sweeping the southern and central parts of the coast on Thursday, with a southerly wind change in its wake. Winds will then turn northerly again later in the week as the trough weakens.
