Weather Situation
A low pressure system over the the Tasman Sea is moving away to the east whilst a ridge of high pressure is building from the northwest, bringing fresh to strong south to southwest winds to the coast today, A cold front will move through the state during the weekend maintaining fresh to locally strong west to southwest winds through to Monday. A more vigorous front and series of low pressure troughs next week will bring fresh to strong west to northwest winds from Tuesday.
