West to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 25 knots offshore south of Merimbula during the morning and early afternoon. Winds tending south to southwesterly in the late afternoon then tending northwest to southwesterly 10 to 15 knots in the late evening.

1.5 to 2.5 metres, decreasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the afternoon, then decreasing below 1 metre later in the evening.

1st Swell

Southerly around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the morning.

Weather Situation

A low pressure system near Tasmania is slowly moving eastwards, maintaining moderate west to southwesterly winds over the southern and central coastal waters. Winds will gradually ease and become light and variable later in the week as the low weakens and moves further east, and a high pressure system moves across the New South Wales. Winds will then turn northerly and strengthen through the weekend ahead of a strong cold front that will cross the coastal waters late this weekend into early next week.
