A front and its associated trough crossing the state will bring a west to southwesterly change to southern and central coastal waters later today through Wednesday, before the front moves away to the Tasman Sea and the trough continues crossing the northern coastal waters on Wednesday. Then, a ridge of high pressure will drift across the coastal waters midweek ahead of the second cold front that looks set to cross the coast on Saturday.
