Weather Situation

Winds will turn east to northeasterly along the northern and central parts of the coast today as a weak trough forms near the coast. This trough will then deepen to a low pressure system near the central parts of the coast late today before quickly moving offshore. This will be followed by a high pressure ridge building across the state, which will become the dominant feature over the coastal waters mid to late this week until the next trough brushes the coast on the weekend.
