Southeast to southwesterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 20 knots offshore south of Merimbula in the late afternoon. Winds becoming variable about 10 knots in the late evening.

Seas

1 to 1.5 metres, decreasing below 1 metre later in the evening.

1st Swell

Southerly 1 to 1.5 metres inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore south of Green Cape.

Weather Situation

A high pressure system will continue to slowly move eastwards over the New South Wales, reaching the Tasman Sea on Thursday, bring generally light winds. A cold front is forecast to cross the coastal waters on Friday through to early Saturday, bringing a fresh to strong southerly wind change in its wake. Winds will ease from Sunday as another high moves over the region.
