Northerly winds are forecast to prevail over New South Wales coast most of the week, apart from brief incursions of southerly or westerly winds to the southern and central coastal waters due to mobile troughs, as a high pressure ridge extends from the Tasman Sea to the far north coast while a series of cold fronts skims to the south through the week.
