Weather Situation

A cold front is crossing the north of the state bringing fresh to strong northwesterly winds to the northern part of the coast and fresh to strong westerly winds to the southern part of the coast. Winds will turn westerly during the evening along the northern part of the coast in the wake of the front. Winds will then remain westerly until a second cold front crosses coastal waters late Friday bringing strong southwesterly winds in its wake. Winds will weaken from Sunday as a ridge builds over the NSW coast.
