- In the wake of a cold front, south to southwesterly winds will tend northerly and strengthen today as a high pressure system drifts across the coastal waters. Winds will shift west to southwesterly again over the weekend as a stronger cold front moves over NSW coastal waters, with southwesterly winds persisting into early next week as a series of fronts brush the south of the state.
