Eden Coastal Waters

Montague Island to Gabo Island
Wind
Southerly 10 to 15 knots decreasing to about 10 knots in the late afternoon.

Below 1 metre.
1st Swell
Northeasterly around 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore.
Weather
Partly cloudy. The chance of a thunderstorm offshore north of Merimbula later tonight.
Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge over northern part of the coast, while a trough is brushing the southern and central parts of the state, bringing a southerly change. Winds will gradually turn northeast to southeasterly through the first half of the week as the trough heads offshore and another ridge builds across the coastal waters. Then, a cold front looks set to cross the coastal waters on Thursday, bringing a fresh to strong, gusty southerly wind change in its wake.
