Weather Situation

North to northwesterly winds this morning as a weakening ridge extends over the northern coastal waters and a cold front approaches from the west. The cold front will cross the coastal waters this morning, bringing fresh westerly winds in its wake. A series of fronts and troughs is forecast to slip south of the coastal waters during early next week, ahead of the next trough that may brush the coast during mid week, bringing a fresh southerly change.
