- A cold front will bring a fresh to strong, gusty southerly change to the southern half of the coast later today before continuing north and crossing much of the north coast on Tuesday. Southerly winds will then gradually turn easterly mid to late this week as a strong high pressure system passes to the south of the state. The high will then enter the Tasman Sea and become slow-moving, maintaining east to northeasterly winds through the weekend.
