On Sunday, the winds tend southeast to northeasterly along the northern coast and gusty north to northeasterly along central and southern parts of the coast as the trough weakens and the high moves over the Tasman Sea. The next trough will bring a southerly change to the southern coast late Monday, reaching central parts of the coast Tuesday morning, before weakening late Tuesday.
