- Weather Situation
- A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge over northern part of the coast, while a trough is brushing the southern and central parts of the state, bringing a southerly change. Winds will gradually turn northeast to southeasterly as the trough heads offshore and another ridge builds across the coastal waters. Then, a cold front looks set to cross the coastal waters on Thursday, bringing a fresh to strong, gusty southerly wind change in its wake.
