A high pressure system over Tasmania is directing onshore east to southeast winds over the coastal waters today. The winds will tend southeast to northeasterly tonight and on Tuesday as the high moves over the southern Tasman Sea, and then north to northeasterly along the southern coast on Wednesday as a low pressure trough approaches from the west.
