Southwesterly 10 to 15 knots turning south to southeasterly in the late morning and early afternoon then becoming variable about 10 knots in the evening. Winds reaching up to 25 knots north of Point Perpendicular in the late morning and early afternoon.

Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the morning, then decreasing below 1 metre by early evening.

1st Swell

Southerly around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres south of Port Kembla.

Partly cloudy. 80% chance of showers offshore south of Point Perpendicular, 50% chance elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm offshore during the morning and afternoon.

Weather Situation

A weak trough and low lingers offshore, bringing south to southwesterly winds. This will be followed by a high pressure ridge building across the state, which will become the dominant feature over the coastal waters mid to late this week. Then, the next trough looks set to cross the coastal waters this weekend, bringing a southerly wind change in its wake.
