West to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots tending south to southeasterly in the early afternoon then tending west to southwesterly in the evening. Winds reaching up to 30 knots north of Point Perpendicular in the late evening.

Seas

1 to 1.5 metres, decreasing to 1 metre around midday, increasing to 1 to 2 metres north of Point Perpendicular by early evening.

1st Swell

Southerly below 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres south of Port Kembla later in the evening.

Weather Situation

A front and its associated trough crossing the state has brought a west to southwesterly change to southern and central coastal waters. The front moves away to the Tasman Sea and the trough continues crossing the northern coastal waters on Wednesday. Then, a ridge of high pressure will drift across the coastal waters midweek ahead of the second cold front that looks set to cross the coast on Saturday.
