South to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 20 knots offshore north of Port Kembla in the late afternoon. Winds becoming variable about 10 knots in the evening.

Southerly around 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore south of Port Kembla.

Weather Situation

A weak low and its associated trough off the central parts of the coast is quickly heading offshore, and this is followed by a high pressure ridge building across the state, which will become the dominant feature over the coastal waters mid to late this week. Then, the next trough looks set to cross the coastal waters this weekend, bringing a southerly wind change in its wake.
