Easterly winds lie over the coastal waters. A high pressure system is slipping to the south and will enter the Tasman Sea during today, turning the winds northeasterly and then freshen the winds along the southern and central coastal waters. A southerly change is forecast to move over the coastal waters from Saturday, tracking north over the weekend.
