Moderate to fresh north to northwesterly winds will shift west to southwesterly during Saturday with the passage of a cold front across the region, and then south to southwesterly during Sunday with a second front skimming the region. Strong winds are possible in the south following the fronts. During the first half of next the winds will tend south to southeasterly as a trough over the Tasman Sea moves near to the coast.
