Weather Situation

A ridge extends across the state from the west. Fresh northeasterly winds will develop later today as the ridge extends to the Tasman Sea and a high pressure system forms within it. The next trough will cross the southern and central parts of the coast midweek and will bring another south to southeasterly wind change in its wake, before stalling about Hunter or Mid North Coast later in the week.
