Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore north of Norah Head.

Weather Situation: A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is bringing east to northeasterly winds along the north coast, while, another trough associated with a low over Bass Strait is crossing the south coast. Then, another trough over the northern inland is forecast to deepen to a low pressure system and traverses the northeast quarter on Thursday, before entering the coastal waters of the Hunter or Mid North Coast on Friday and heading offshore during the weekend, with fresh to strong south to southwesterly winds in its wake.

Wind: North to northeasterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 20 knots offshore north of Norah Head early in the morning. Winds tending north to northwesterly in the middle of the day then becoming variable below 10 knots in the early afternoon.
