The high is forecast to move over New South Wales today, and reach the northern Tasman Sea early Tuesday, turning the winds north to northwesterly. Winds will freshen ahead of a trough and cold front crossing the coastal waters during Wednesday and Thursday, driving west to southwesterly winds in its wake.
