- A cold front is bringing a vigorous southerly change to northern waters and will reach the Queensland border around midday. Southerly winds will be reinforced as another trough moves along the coast during the day. Winds are forecast to ease during Monday and Tuesday as a ridge of high pressure develops across the region.
