Northerly winds will increase during today before a trough brings a southerly change to the far south in the evening. This southerly change will continue to move north along the coast on Tuesday and then strengthen as a cold front reaches the Tasman Sea. After this, southerly winds will persist as a new ridge of high pressure extends across from the west.
