- A ridge extends across the coast, bringing southeasterly winds to the north coast of NSW and northerly winds to the southern part of the coast. The high will move gradually east on Monday before winds turn west to southwesterly along the coast late Monday or early Tuesday as a trough passes over the NSW coast. On Wednesday winds will strengthen and tend southwesterly, becoming gusty at times, as a the trough moves east and develops into a deep low, before easing Thursday as a high over Victoria extends a ridge along the coast.
