A ridge lies over the NSW coast bringing east to southeasterly winds to the NSW coast. This ridge will persist along the coast through Wednesday as winds gradually shift southerly. An inland trough will move over the northern part of the coast on Thursday before the ridge re-establishes itself along the coast Friday.
