Weather Situation

A fresh to strong southerly surge is moving north along the coast today following the earlier passage of a cold front over the Tasman Sea. A high pressure ridge along the coast will maintain south to southeast winds along much of the northern coast for the first half of this week, whist winds tend east to northeast along much of the southern coast ahead of another front that crosses Tasmania and moves over the Tasman Sea . Another fresh to possibly strong southerly surge moves north along the coast on Wednesday following the second front.
