Weather Situation

A high pressure ridge extends toward the north coast while a cold front and its associated trough are entering the southern inland. The trough and front system will enter the far south coast this evening and heads north, bringing a southerly wind change across the southern and central parts of the coast, before reaching Mid North Coast and anchoring in the region through the midweek. Winds will turn northerly later in the week as the trough weakens and another ridge develops. Then, the next cold front looks set to cross the state during the weekend, with the second southerly wind change in its wake.
