Weather Situation

A high pressure system is drifting across southeastern Australia, while a low lingers offshore over the Tasman Sea whipping fresh to strong southerly winds and large powerful waves along much of the coastline. Winds will generally turn east to northeasterly as the low moves eastwards and a ridge builds over the coastal waters from late Saturday.
