Weather Situation

A high pressure ridge lies over the northern NSW waters today, which a trough is slowly moving north along the coast today. Wednesday, a cold front will bring gusty north to northwesterly winds along the coast followed by a fresh and gusty southwesterly wind change later, likely commencing in the south during the afternoon and reaching the northern border by Thursday afternoon. Behind this, a high pressure system is forecast to settle over the waters on Thursday.
