Winds over the southern and central coastal waters will continue fresh south to southeasterly during Sunday, before weakening and gradually turning east to northeasterly early next week as a high pressure system slips south and extends a ridge over the coastal waters early next week. Meanwhile, a low pressure system will deepen off the Gold Coast on Sunday, and drive a fresh southeasterly flow to the northern coast through early next week.
