- Weather Situation
- A slow moving trough over the Hunter coastal water is weakening, while a high over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge over the coastal waters. Meanwhile, another trough extends from eastern Queensland to the northern Tasman Sea, and a low is developing within the trough near southeast Queensland. The low is forecast to move quickly offshore and traverse the northern Tasman Sea over the coming days, while the ridge will strengthen and become the dominant feature by midweek. The next trough then looks set to cross the coastal waters on Thursday through Friday, with fresh gusty southerly winds in its wake.
