Weather Situation
A strong cold front moves over coastal waters today, with strong to gale-force west to southwesterly winds in its wake. Winds will gradually ease from later Friday through the weekend as the front moves further offshore while a strong high-pressure system moves over the Bight and extends a ridge over the coastal waters, turning winds southerly. Winds will then become onshore southeasterly early next week as the high slowly drifts eastwards.
