A ridge is strengthening over coastal areas in the wake of a front, before a trough brushes central and southern parts of the coast later today and on Wednesday, bringing a southerly change with it. High pressure will build in the Tasman Sea later in the week, bringing east to northeasterly winds to coastal waters.
