- A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is extending a ridge over the NSW coast, while the remains of a coastal trough sits about the Mid North Coast. Easterly winds generated by these systems will maintain onshore easterly winds over the coastal waters across the weekend and into early next week. Mid to late week a cold front or trough is poised to move along the coast bringing unsettled weather.
