- Weather Situation
- Northerly winds over the coastal waters are strengthening as a ridge extending from a high near New Zealand slowly retreats ahead of a series of cold fronts that will cross the state mid to late this week. Winds will then turn west to southwesterly on Friday following the passage of the fronts, before turning southerly over the weekend as a new high over the Bight drifts towards Tasmania and a low develops near New Zealand.
