- A cold front crossing NSW this morning is forecast to reach the northeast in the middle of the day with strong to gale force southerly winds extending as far north as the Hunter coast. Winds will briefly turn east to northeasterly early next week as another high pressure ridge drifts across the state, then the next cold front will move across the coast on Tuesday through early Wednesday next week, with another southerly wind change after its passage.
