- Weather Situation
- Northerly winds are strengthening as a high pressure system over the Tasman Sea moves further away while a cold front approaches from the west. This front and its associated trough will bring a west to southwesterly change to southern and central coastal waters later today through Wednesday, before the front moves away to the Tasman Sea and the trough weakens over the northern coastal waters. Then, a ridge of high pressure will drift across the coastal waters midweek ahead of the second cold front that looks set to cross the coast on Saturday.
