A trough near the Hunter and Mid North Coast will move closer to the land today with winds becoming north to northeasterly. Southerly winds will develop along the southern and central waters on Sunday and spread to the northern waters on Monday as a low pressure system forms over the southern Tasman Sea and then moves away to the east. The next trough is forecast to arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday.
