Weather Situation
A trough is heading eastwards and forecast to cross the coastal waters during today. A low pressure has formed within the trough in the northeast of the state as the system enters the Tasman Sea later today. The low will then remain over the Tasman Sea while whipping fresh to strong southerly winds and large powerful swells to the coastline mid to late this week.
