- A front and its associated trough crossing the state has brought a west to southwesterly change to southern and central coastal waters. The front moves away to the Tasman Sea and the trough continues crossing the northern coastal waters on Wednesday. Then, a ridge of high pressure will drift across the coastal waters midweek ahead of the second cold front that looks set to cross the coast on Saturday.
