- A high pressure system with its centre near South Australia is extending a ridge across the state, and this ridge will be the dominant feature for the next couple of days as its centre slowly moves eastwards. A trough is forecast to brush the south and along the coast mid to late this week, and this system will be followed by another high pressure ridge drifting across the state during the weekend.
