Weather Situation

A slow moving high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge to the state's east, maintaining fresh northeasterly airstream over Sydney Waters. A trough looks set to brush Sydney Waters on Friday before stalling about the central part of the coast. This will be followed by the second high pressure system passing to the south, maintaining onshore easterly airstream later in the week.
