A broad high pressure ridge lies along across the coast before a cold front brushes the Sydney Waters late tonight. As the decaying front continues northward a ridge develops along the coast in its wake. During the midweek, another trough slips southeast of the New South Wales coast bringing a weak southeasterly wind change.
