A front and its associated trough crossing the state will bring a west to southwesterly change to Sydney Waters early Wednesday morning, before the front moves away to the Tasman Sea and the trough continues crossing the northern coastal waters. Then, a ridge of high pressure will drift across the coastal waters midweek ahead of the second cold front that looks set to cross the coast on Saturday.
