A trough is currently moving north along the northern coasts, bringing wet conditions and windy conditions, as well as hazardous surf to the coast. Winds will tend fresh southwesterly Thursday as the trough reaches the northern border. Winds tend moderate to fresh south to southeasterly Friday as a coastal trough forms along the northern part of the coast Friday and a ridge builds overt the south coast. Over the weekend winds will tend easterly than northeasterly as the ridge widens across the entire coast.
