Winds are northerly as a ridge of high pressure builds over the coast today. A southerly wind change will move along the southern half of the coast as a weak trough moves through and decays during Saturday. Winds turn fresh north to northwesterly by Sunday as a high builds over the Tasman, ahead of another southerly change moving along the southern half of the coast on Monday with the next trough.
