A low pressure system near Tasmania will move further southwards on Saturday as a brief ridge of high pressure crosses Bass Strait. Meanwhile a weak cold front will approach from the west and weaken as it clips the southwest late on Saturday. A deep low pressure system well south of the Bight will strengthen the northwesterly flow on Sunday with an associated cold front reaching the State on Monday.
