Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the NSW coast extends a ridge south over eastern Bass Strait. A low pressure system near the Bight approaches Victoria on Saturday before weakening as it crosses Victoria on Sunday. Winds will tend northerly on Monday as a high pressure system crosses NSW and a cold front crosses the Bight. A vigorous westerly airstream will then develop as the cold front crosses Bass Strait on Tuesday as another front approaches from the west.
