Weather Situation
A southwesterly flow prevails behind a front which crossed the state on Friday night. A high pressure system over the Bight is forecast to move slowly east, building a ridge over the state on Sunday, persisting to the north of Tasmania on Monday. The high centre is expected to move into the Tasman Sea on Tuesday, directing a northwesterly flow over Tasmania, ahead of an approaching trough to the west. The trough is forecast to move to the north of the state on Wednesday.
